We’re Committed to Preserving & Promoting the Quality of Life of Stittsville.

The Stittsville Village Association is a group of volunteers that includes residents and business owners from a variety of backgrounds. Some of us have lived in the community for decades, while some of us are new residents who want to get involved and make a difference.

We organize three major annual events: the annual Parade of Lights (December), Canada Day (July 1), and Arts in the Park (June), as well as other activities throughout the year.  We also engage with our City Councillor and advocate for issues that are important to our growing community, including planning and development, traffic and transit, and youth and seniors issues.

We meet on the last Thursday of every month and all community members are welcome to attend our meetings.  Please contact us for more information.

Our Mission is to:

(1) To provide for residents and businesses in Stittsville, a representative body to be responsive to issues within Stittsville/Kanata West Ward 6, and to communicate those issues to municipal authorities or any other level of government, as appropriate. And,
(2) Where appropriate, to organize or contribute to the organization of social, cultural, or celebratory events designed to promote and enhance the sense of community within Stittsville.
