DESCRIPTION:The Stittsville Village Association is hosting their Annual General Meeting on October 15 at 6:00 PM.  To celebrate 25 years of community building and volunteer commitment\, we're inviting all past SVA members for light refreshments.\n\nThe SVA's events and initiatives are a collaborative effort and it's critical we have enough hands and ideas to keep our events fresh\, fun\, and safe. \n\nWe are hoping to sign up members and directors (voting members) who can fill some of the following tasks and roles. These are great resume-building opportunities for youth\, too!  \n-Certified first aiders available on event days\, including Canada Day and Parade of Lights (first Saturday in December) \n- Web & Social media lead(s) (creating content for stittsvilleva.com\, Facebook and Instagram)\n- Lead Volunteer Coordinator that manages event-day volunteer sign-up\, communications\, and event-day oversight\n- Logistics and site set-up lead - ideally with access to a truck and/or trailer. \n\nBoard meetings are held the first Thursday of the month.
