The Annual Parade of Lights takes place November 28th, 2015 at 6:00 pm.

The SVA’s annual Parade of Lights is a community favourite, drawing thousands of spectators along the parade route. Each year, dozens of beautifully decorated community floats set the tone for Santa’s much anticipated arrival at the end of the parade. Merry makers are also encouraged to stay for the lighting of Village Square Park, and to share in some hot chocolate and cookies.

We are in need of many volunteers to stand by traffic barricades along the parade route. Adults and youth are encouraged to volunteer. It’s a great way to take in the parade (you can stay with family or friends) and students can collect community service hours. Youth under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Thank you for helping to make this annual tradition a success!  If you’d like to volunteer, contact Roxanne Bronsard or Marilyn Jenkins Ph: 613-836-5075.
