Stittsville is a community on the western edge of the City of Ottawa. The village was named after the first postmaster, Jackson Stitt in 1850. In 2019, Stittsville’s population has grown to over 41,000 residents. It’s where rural Ottawa meets suburban Ottawa, and where the old blends with the new.
Today, Stittsville is home to many families, natural areas, and a variety of shops and businesses. Whether walking or cycling along the Trans Canada Trail or visiting one of the local shops, Stittsville has something for everyone.
